Chef David Schuttenberg joins The Daily with a dinner residency every Friday and Saturday night from 6pm to 12am withhis new Sichuan conceptKwei Fei.With a fondness for and background in Asian cuisine,Schuttenberg's menu at Kwei Fei will serve lively, Sichuan leaning dishes featuring carefully sourced ingredients, local vegetables, meats, noodles, rice, and of course, chilies. Though known for spice and heat, Sichuan cuisine relies heavily on a balance of flavors; sweet, sour, hot, bitter, and fragrant. The tightly focused menu will change regularly, occasionally feature special guests, and and will highlight both smaller and entree sized dishes meant for sharing, alongside beer, wine and featured cocktails, all available a la carte, first come first served.
